Rated Good by Ofsted, Soho Nursery and Pre-School provides Early Years education and childcare to children from birth to 5 years old.
You can find us tucked away beneath the streets of Soho, close to Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square underground stations. We’re a cosy nursery in an intimate setting, with separate spaces for different age groups and a secret underground garden!
Our central Soho location gives children an exciting city on their doorstep. We make the most of our surroundings with regular local trips, from exploring the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery to discovering the theatres and cultural spaces that make this part of London so special. These experiences inspire our children’s curiosity and imagination, and bring learning to life beyond the nursery.
Our experienced staff plan each day with help from the children. There are so many activities to choose from – including acting, dance and film-making, cooking, gardening, science and woodwork.
We have a particular passion for expressive arts, giving children lots of opportunities to explore their creativity, express themselves and build confidence through performance, music, movement and storytelling.
Our chef provides all meals on-site, using healthy recipes from LEYF’s menu.
We offer full-time and term-time-only sessions.

Greg, nursery manager
Hello, my name is Greg and I am the manager at Soho Nursery & Pre-School. I have been working in Early Years for over 20 years and am a qualified teacher and Early Years professional. Our nursery is right in the heart of one of the world’s most diverse cities and, amongst all the energy, we hide a secret underground garden! Our setting is host to some fantastic families and hardworking, talented and caring staff.

Parent at SohoThey made sure that my daughter could write all the alphabets and numbers, and spell some words before she moved on to school, which was very helpful. The staff members are lovely. I liked how they did a lot of cooking(baking) as well. She enjoyed drama lessons and some short nursery trips.

Food and nutrition at LEYF
Healthy eating is important at LEYF. Our chefs, trained at our Early Years Chef Academy, understand children’s specific nutritional needs, and how to encourage children to be adventurous in their tastes. We cater for different dietary requirements and allergies.
